My camera is broken. 

It's lovely, snappy, blink-and-you'll-miss-it shutter just will not fire.

It's very, very hard to accept. I'm on holidays... all I want to do is take photos. 

On a brighter note I received a new, well really old but new to me, camera last week. My dad's rolleiflex.

It's beautiful. It's exciting. It takes 120 film, of which I don't have right now. It's frustrating. 

I've been trawling photography blogs (some of the best I've seen) with pangs of envy and jealousy and sadness all mixed up in one. 

Alas, film is on the way and hopefully things will start to look up.
